This webinar aims to give all personnel involved in the sourcing and quality of textile products an understanding of the basics of fabric production and its relation to quality. The course provides an overview of the different types of natural, man-made and synthetic fibres in common use, explain how they are made into yarns and how they are manufactured into woven, weft and warp knitted fabrics. This webinar should provide attendees with a good understanding of how the different qualities of each fibre and fabric combination play an important part in the end use of the product.
